Growing up as a kid who stammered every step of the way, it wasn't easy for Priyam to survive with a vocal disability. As usual, his typical middle-class family had a lot of expectations from him. Due to his disability and situational problems, he was confronted with adversities but each of those that he faced turned out to be important life-lessons.
Priyam Sengupta suffered from GNPAT Stammering, a genetic disorder in stammering. Priyam Sengupta fought with this disability. He is now a working in a well-recognized media house in Kolkata, West Bengal.Priyam Sengupta does anchoring for different shows, His organization Blood Mates is a boon for the people in an emergency. Blood mates initially were just a personal endeavor for Priyam Sengupta, where he merely posted and shared about people across Kolkata who are in need of blood. It began just from the passion of doing something for society and as an act of giving back to society in a way. The group tirelessly keeps updating newer requirement of blood across the city and they help donors get in touch with the ones who are in need of blood.
