Hi Ted! I'm a new collector, and I wanted to say that I've found your videos to be incredibly informative and helpful. Thanks so much for making these!

Very informative, thanks for taking us along. If your permanent residence is in Europe, you might prefer ebay Germany because there are no fees for private sellers. Greets from GER, U.

Yes, I’ve already discovered ebay.de and have favorited a couple of dealers. For that matter, Amazon.de has become my go-to shopping portal. Amazon.es as well as Portuguese online shopping sites, like Worten.pt, won’t ship to Madeira.

I like going to stamp shows. The disadvantage is that, at least in my area there are only 2 a year. The good part is that I can save up and see my favorite, and trusted dealers.

It’s been quite a few years since I have been to one. I am eager to go again.

How about the APS section of HipStamp???
@tedtalksstamps3 ай бұрын
Ordering from the APS store is good. As it's an agglomeration of many different sellers' inventories, they have the broadest selection of stamps even though they rank 5th largest in total inventory. You also have the benefit of shopping from multiple dealers while paying only one shipping fee (although shipping is higher than most dealers). Quality of listings, though, varies widely among the APS dealers, especially in the quality of the images provided. I've also found that, particularly on better quality items, they often have the most reasonable prices.

Hip stamp is great if I'm looking for a specific stamp so is colnect but I still prefer ebay for buying random collections and albums

My stamp purchases are almost exclusively singles and sets and can agree with you there.

Hipstamp is backed by APS in part

APS moved their APS Stamp Store to the HipStamp platform. After I uploaded the video, I 🤦🏼 realizing I forgot to mention that.

Hello. I have a collection of valuable and rare original stamps from several countries with a long life. Can you help or buy?
@doughoback52264 ай бұрын
I prefer Hipstamp. Easier to use and better deals. I will never buy off ebay again.

Hipstamp has higher fees than eBay. For this reason, I offer better deals on my ebay store than on my Hipstamp store.

I am from Sri Lanka. I have a collection of stamps from many countries, even 100,200,300,400 years ago. For example, in many countries like America, China, Pakistan, if you can, please help me sell them.

I'm so sorry. If you have stamps that are 200, 300, and 400 years old, I cannot help you. I have never seen a stamp that old. Your best bet is to find a Facebook group that deals with those.
