Another top notch gameplay by A&M. I wish we could see and hear more of you. Stamps swapping is heartbreaking and fascinating.

Oh, ladies, you are talking me into another game!

It was entertaining to see some gameplay for this new title. As a Hanamikoji fan and my husband's interest in stamps, I definitely see the charm in this lighter-weight game. I will need to play this. Cheers

Do u think this is better than penny black ..another stamp game

haven't played that one, so hard to say :(

Penny Black is lighter and less interactive, but still fun. This is the one I prefer, of course I am quite biased.

I don’t understand the point of the draft if you’re gonna split and choose afterwards. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like you might as well just each reserve 1, randomly assign the rest of the stuff to each player, then split and choose. In 2 player at least, the drafting seems pointless.

you draft things that you know your opponent wants so you can offer them up to keep them from taking what you want and hopefully get more for yourself by making their ideal offer too enticing :)

@@rahdo I get that but a 2 player game is zero sum anyways. It’s basically hate drafting but maybe they get to take it after the fact now. It feels like we needlessly divide stuff up twice. I feel like we should either draft or split and choose. I don’t see how they complement each other. Maybe I’ll try it at some point to understand if the reviews are really good. I don’t know why this bothers me so much lol I think I just really want to keep the things I draft.

yup, that's why you hate draft in this game, not to keep stuff away from your opponent (the 'hate' part) but to protect the stuff that's important to you. all mind games :)

@@tomlikeabomb6706 You'll get to keep some of what you draft. That's where the strategy comes in. It's not redundant at all.

I'll give a little insight here. If I handed you a random pile of tiles that you don't want any of, you'll be forced to have half-ish of them. And if I randomly hand your opponent tiles that are very much to their liking, they will get half of those. Since value of stamps is not universal across players, we needed a way for players to ensure that the things in front of them would be of reasonable value to them. Of course, if players expect that everything they draft will be theirs (as is usually the case in a drafting game) then the swap phase will likely drive against their expectation, and they may not enjoy it. I think of the draft as setting me up for a well-played split/swap. And of course, I can reserve something for myself. I think the gameplay here may seem a little odd from the outset, but the gameplay dynamics may surprised many players. Even if it doesn't match their expectations, they may still enjoy it.

Very interesting game, not quite a fan of the drafting in this game.

47:18 Amy scored all of the cancelled stamps on her board, but it should only have been cancelled stamps in a group.
