Ryan, As a fellow stamper. A trick I always loved. Use sheet metal or vinyl coils rolls to put down where the border goes, this way you can stamp over it with the field stamps. Then at the end you can remove roll and tamp in borders. Roll reusable. Works great with minimal effort. Just have to get sheet metal the same width as the borders. Also we use a burlap bag to apply powder release. You can spread it much farther and it breaks up the clumps and marks you get from hand throwing. Hope this helps!
