I don't really understand his reactions at all, for some reaction his initial excitement fades away and he becomes pretty cold towards Peter when the four of them convene afterwards.
@PrinceOfLillies11 ай бұрын
@@godei7800 for me, it’s layered. He was already pretty hard on Peter in the beginning, acting not unlike his own father, and Alan craved his dad’s affection and genuine praise when he was young. As he watched Peter being brave and going after the game, he has this fleeting glee an pride at what he sees Peter accomplish. And you can see he almost wants to yell out saying ‘good job Peter’ or something but catches himself. He wanted that kind of encouragement as a boy, and because he didn’t get it, he struggles to give it to Peter. That’s what I see at least ahah. There is something to be said about an audience reading too much into things, but I’ve watched this movie so much, I don’t if I’ve attached extra meaning. :)

Well, also, sadly Hollywood has a penchant for depicting gun store owners as criminals (aka falsifying state and federal records for gold coins). 99.99% of FFls turn away anyone who is a weirdo and has no ID. The ATF usually catches rogue Dealers (and sometimes in their zeal they sweep up honest ones with paperwork errors). But 99% of the criminals or mentally unfit persons get their weapons illegally aka 'the black market'.

When she mentioned "when you carry around so much repressed anger, it attracts a lot of negative energy and things happen like ending up a jungle, that was no accident", the game makes drumming noise to attract anyone who "want to leave their world behind" as in not want to live a life you dont want so the game grants you that wish but not in the way you want it. However, in the end, you'll appreciate your life after the hardship you go through playing that game. 2. Alan's dad issues generated a lot of negative energy in him that attracted Van Pelt to face his issues like a man.

Nobody wants to find out, which seems to be the point. No one knows if that person would 'stay' inside the game if they perished from a move they made, just that it requires everyone to have a turn even if they stopped playing for over two decades. The only way it would reset everything is by a Player winning the game. In the chaos that ensued, already people were being stabbed by mosquitoes the size of BLEEPING YAMS, and were probably sick enough to nearly die themselves! The game gets harder with each turn, that the Players almost either lose his mind by turning into a monkey, or nearly die from giant spiders or poisonous plants. So close to death, but the willpower to play the final move that stops the whole thing! ^^
@finlandguy4273 ай бұрын
It has to because if you recall, Judy got shot by one of the poisonous barbs so she died or got uncounciuss for a moment 'till she died eventually but after Alan finishes the game, everything was reset so none of it didn't happen, which means Judy didn't die So it's safe to say that the killed players will get resurrected after the game is finished as long as one or a few players is still alive to play it.
