Love the snow banks. I have loved that stamp set and just recently purchased my own set. They are the most beautiful rubber stamp trees of any stamps I have seen. And I have been making cards for over 20 years!

I agree! It's my most used stamp set. I actually got to meet the woman who designed this stamp set! She is lovely!!

Hi Kim, this popped up on my you tube homepage and I am glad it did. I love stamping scenes and for some reason doing hills has got me as I never know where the light and dark should be. I have a couple of toppers to make this morning and will try this afterwards. Thank you.xxxx

Beautiful card. Using the masks to make the trees set into the snow banks is a great idea. Love the help. Thanks.

The tip about using the Stamp-a-ma-jig in case of needing to restamp has been even more useful to me than your great snow bank technique.

This is gorgeous! I love the colors you used and how you fit in other trees as if they're further out beyond a snow bank, etc.l Much easier than masking! I don't have sound on my pc these days, so wasn't able to listen in; not sure why you used a Stamp-a-ma-jig? but no matter what, gorgeous!! Thank you so much for sharing and I'm signing up for your mailing list (or whatever it's called :)). Are you on SplitC oast Stampers?

What are the little white spots all over your card? Is it simple embossing powders? LOVE your card and techniques! Thank you for this tutorial!
@StampingImperfection9 жыл бұрын
+jesusredeemed Yes it is! I was experimenting with the Versa Mark reinker and a toothbrush. I just did a new video with the Gorgeous Grunge splatter stamp and embossing which I thought looked better than the toothbrush technique!
@juliedyer54010 жыл бұрын
Did you master the white spot technique you were working on when you made this card. I've seen it in a few but can't figure out what you did. I had an idea of using the versa mark pad with a dobber and then the irredscent ice powder.
@StampingImperfection10 жыл бұрын
Actually, use one of the stamps from the grunge set with versa mark. You can emboss it if you want to, but sponging over just the versa mark which is one of the resist techniques works really well. That's what I did on this card.

Great tutorial - I can't seem to find out how to make your little sponges. I went on your website and into the the archives for Dec 2012 but no luck. Please help me .
@suem359610 жыл бұрын
Found a similar technique on stampin up, take a round sponge (stampin up / michaels / craft store) cut it into 1/4 pieces fold a small cardboard over pointed end, staple! Write name of color used on cardboard.

How did you get the speckled "snow"?
@StampingImperfection8 жыл бұрын
I've done it a few ways. You can flick it on with a tooth brush and your thumb or spritz with a spritzer. I used the toothbrush here with versa mark ink from the re-inker and then just flicked it with my thumb and embossed with white embossing powder.
