Hi Robin, I never seen the water pencils demonstrated before, they make beautiful cards! Here in Ontario Canada we had torrential rains, followed by freezing rain, hail, flash freeze to the ground, then a snowstorm. Today it's the high winds. Funny weather!

I really like that you don’t use all dsp in your videos. Thanks for watercolor techniques. I have a (new) blender pen/brush but it doesn’t seem to have any fluid in it.
@reallyrobinstamps2 жыл бұрын
Hi Findlay! I’m glad cards without patterned paper are making you happy. Is your blender pen from Stampin’ Up!? The new ones have stiff brushes and need to be broken in by using. Definitely should see fluid if you bend the brush tip.
@findlayhunter49342 жыл бұрын
@@reallyrobinstamps No, I ordered it from Amazon. It is Tombow brand. I have been dipping it in water. Not ideal, but it works.

Good question, Robin. I thought of a couple things I should have added to the video including your question. First of all the barrels open clockwise instead of the normal screw top direction. Once open I just hold it under a stream of water from the sink. What issues specifically are you having?

Beautiful! Thank you for this tutorial, I'm new to this technique. Would you agree that water colour paper would be best? Thanks 🌸 😊 p.s. I'm also new to Stampin Up!
@reallyrobinstamps2 жыл бұрын
Hello Susan and welcome to my channel and the world of Stampin' Up! Watercolor paper does work best especially when you are using lots of water. I think the watercolor pencils and a blender pen work well on Basic White cardstock. The Shimmery White cardstock we carry is also very perfect for these techniques. Please let me know how I can help you in your stamping journey! Thank you for leaving me your comment!😃

Hi Robin Lynn from Australia here. It's 10:30am Saturday morning here, as I'm typing this. Confession - I do have the pencils, but have NEVER used them. I don't really do colouring, BUT, as usual, you have inspired me. Thanks for sooooooo many samples. Like Tim said in his Valentine's to you - You are amazing. I can't see the comments people make when watching you, so someone might have already asked you this - what is in the jar that you keep your pencils in, and, what purpose does it serve - just curious. Cheers my friend. Lynn
