Thanks so much for this great video. I wish I'd known about you when I started with SU because I bought a lot of stamps and not always the punches or dies and I have a problem with fussy cutting because I have essential tremor in my hands so from now on I will always get the coordinating dies or punches. When it comes to the card stock, I always jumped around and I think your suggestion of sticking with Bright then moving on with the other types. Excellent video whether a newbie or not! Blessings and hugs from Canada! Stay healthy and virus free!

Great point, Jackie; I never thought about trying to pull my own products together and that they wouldn't have matched or worked cohesively. Thankfully, I started from the very beginning with Stampin' Up introduced by a friend of mine who was a demonstrator. She invited me over to her house to do "stamping", and I thought she meant postage stamps! 😂😂😂 Needlessly to say, I was pleasantly surprised that we actually made cards!

Hi Jackie, I just have to tell you again how much I enjoy your Idea's on card making, and for the fact that you are not just focusing on selling the stamping up products, although they look very nice, I have 3 boxes on my steps outside to open, because of the covid 19 virus, I just leave them outside for a few hours, but excited to open them. I'm new to card making also, but so far so good, learning by my mistakes, I guess the hardest thing is stamping, i'm full of ink. and learning to cut straight. I would love to have you as my demonstrator, but I selected one before I saw your videos, and learned that you were in Michigan also, it's early May and snow is spitting. Tks again for the tip's and have a great day, Nicky in cold Michigan.

I love my paper cutter, but I found an anomaly. I found that when I tried to score my whisper white at 4 1/2, it doesn't fold right. It's always a bit short on one side. But when I move the paper 1/16 inch further before I score, the score is perfect. Other than that, this is my favorite cutter.
@WendysCraftDen5 жыл бұрын
Hi Edith what card size are you using? Try scoring at 4 1/4.xxx
@edithritchison99635 жыл бұрын
@@WendysCraftDen I score at 4 1/4, but it is always just a fraction off. I find if I move the CS over to the next 1/16th .mark, it works fine. It does the same thing when I score at 5 1/2. I have to move the paper over a smidge to make the score even. Maybe my trimmer is off or something. Anyone else have this happen?
@WendysCraftDen5 жыл бұрын
Hi Edith sorry I thought you said 4 1/2. Do you score first and then cut? I know if I score and then cut it is a little out. Have a look at Liz Yuille video where she does a review on the trimmer.xxx

New to stamping and have made the mistake of single stamps. That aside, I have purchased "new stamps" in cellophane but they don't ink. Do you have to activate? Could it be the stamp (rubber abd/or silicon)
@KlompenStampersJackieBolhuis Жыл бұрын
I am not sure what you mean by cellophane stamps. Is that how they are packaged? As to why they won’t ink I really don’t know. If they are a lesser quality stamp it could be the stamp or the ink you are using.
