Make sure to read the weapon descriptions because most weapons have unique damage boosters. Gerudo weapons double damage when fused, Zora weapons double damage when wet, etc.

Hey Stamps the gerudo weapons double the damage of whatever you attach to it for example attach a boss bokoblin horn (37 X 2) + 10 for weapon = strong weapon

About that missing shrine, there's actually another sinkhole in that area where the shrine is. The sinkhole you went down doesn't have it

If I recall correctly, there is a place where you can do a minigame somewhere in the desert. It's either just outside town or in the south (I might be mixing up two different things).
