Rare live footage of Stan playing 45 Years at Camp Fortune ski resort just north of Ottawa. I believe this was August 1, 1977 but I'm not 100% sure. The bassist playing with Stan and Garnet is David Woodhead.

This is as good as it gets - the songwriting, the singing, the playing, and Stan's love for Ariel.

This is one of my favourite songs of Stan's. What incredible lyrics. Stan not only a great voice but incredible songwriter.

I saw Stan Rogers several times at a little coffee house called the Smales Pace in London Ontario in the early 70's. Gone at such an early age. Such a great singer.

I was introduced to Stan Rogers' music in 1980 at a little log cabin resort in Michigan. Learned this song while sitting on the dock. I'm going back there next week!

Was not to introduced to this singer until I met my husband, who listened to WPR's "Simply Folk" every Sunday. Was immediately captivated, and have every one of his albums.

The love expressed by Stan Rogers is so reminiscent of another beautiful Canadian ballad "When you and I were young Maggie." Foster and Allen perform an outstanding version.

Hi. I'm a video editor working on a project about Stan Rogers. I'd like to include some of this performance in the video and I'm wondering if you know who the rights holders are?

It certainly *sounds* like David Woodhead, but how can you tell? We never see him in the video :)
