Who on earth gave this a thumbs down. Shame on you! Stan Rogers is THE GREATEST folk singer/songwriter of all time. We have still not seen his equal all these years later.

Hi. I did not go to any of these concerts I posted, I too, never got to see him in concert, but knew of him before he died, due to the Dick Cerri show on radio in the Washington DC area, were I live. We do alot in W MD. We do alot of biking in PA. Jim Cain wrote a novel, Rise Again, fiction about college kids raising the Mary Ellen Carter, its a great book. Stan's wife said its okay to do that book. Its on Amazon. We see Garnet alot, but he has not toured much lately. best.

Thanks again for all of these great shows! What a voice....what a polished group of performers..... so sad that it all ended so early. Used to go see Garnet in his early touring days at the "Desert Rose Cafe" in Elora, Ontario. Loved those shows.....so glad to hear these!

David, you are quite welcome. these recording are so clean, clear, they could of been a live CD. Godfrey Daniels, recorded all their shows. I have a good friend who lives in Tillsonburg? I think I have it spelled right, as we are touch alot. I got to know of him through a Garnet Rogers yahoo group, that is dead now. We have seen Garnet a zillion times in Maryland. Mike I still have some more to post. My friend in Vancouver, ex Toronto, we do Christmas exchange, as he is into the same interest as me, music, baseball and trains. From John, I got a two part book on the building of your Canadian Pacific Railroad which bonded Canada, just interesting history. BC was going to leave, people wrote, everyone including the cows will die out in Winnipeg due to the cold snow, Right now, the Winnipeg land boom is where I am in the book. Mike John has made me a honorary Canadian and that is fine with me. Then I can get full content of CBC. 22 minutes is great.

You are welcome. I do not think Final Trawl is on any of the concerts and other material I have found, but I will check. I think I have all of his material now on KZbin. I am not a Canadian. I live in MD near DC. We have a Sunday Night folk show, Dick Cerri, host, is how I learned of Stan and others. I have some of the Dick Cerri material on youtube, most, they canned due to copyrights of songs, sadly. And yet, the same song is posted by others. I do have all of my Dick Cerri material on archive.org search Dick Cerri. I have been made a honorary Canadian by a friend in Canada.

Hi Bryan, I have descriptions on all of these audios where the pictures are from. There are no trestle bridges like this on the GAP. This is from the Pine Creek Rail Trail in PA, as they have 4 bridges like this. A 62 mile trail, as we rent a house there for a week every Sept.

During Rolling Down to Old Maui the audience laughs around "Even now their big brown eyes look out" and the audience on the Between the Breaks album laughs around the same time. Clearly someone is doing some kind of physical bit that they're reacting to, does anyone know what it was? Thanks for all these uploads by the way, they're great.
