What I find interesting about this little guy, is I find him incredibly bittersweet. He brings me a lot of comfort, being able to accept that I just want to sit in silence and eat for a bit, but he also kind of feels lonely. Like there are people he could potentially be with and enjoy a meal with, but he’s just not feeling up for it today. He feels tired, like a lot is happening and he’s not too sure how to deal with it, so he’s taking a moment to just sit… sit and enjoy the food he’s eating. Even if the small amount of joy the food is bringing is laced with a bitter, numb sadness. I may be projecting on a small animated mouse.
