By Skills, you can compare them to MJ and Scottie, Klay and Steph etc etc. By stats too. By accomplishments not. YET. Luka is playing on two bad knees and getting injected and still killing teams(I am scared to think what he would do if he was 100%). They have a pretty decent team but they are totally not stacked. What will happen if they actually win against on paper way superior teams this year? and if next year Luka is healthy and the team keeps improving? Maybe then you will have to acknowledge they are just that.

The issue is that people want to see something become a fact vs someone who is able to look at what they are seeing and calling it. It’s way more impressive to have the ability to see it vs after they accomplish it and it’s obvious. For example Marc Jackson he didn’t need curry/klay to get all the records to see what it was.

I'd need to see a great Finals performance this year and a deep playoff run next year at this level of play from Luka and Kyrie to say this about them. However, they are playing at that level right now. I'd say vintage Steph and Klay are better offensively right now, especially considering all the 'chips. I am sure other people can come up with other backcourt duos that they could put on that list too.

If you by, at the time, Cousy and Sam Jones. They are both top 75 players, they won 5 championships. Cousy has an MVP and 8 consecutive assist titles. Sam Jones was the best shooting guard in the East for the 1960s. Isiah and Dumars were awesome too but not as good just offensively

Kyrie and Luka had scored over 30 points together for three times in this playoff season. No backcourt has done that in last 50 years. It is fair to be in the conversation. Steph and Klay had much better support than Kyrie and Luka. Even taking out of KD, you have Draymond etc. all star players. The final MVP was Iguodala when Warriors won the first Championship.

Rob's right when someone uses arguably they make a non-statement seem and sound like an actual statement. When you add arguably you add the potential value to something. Arguably trees are tastier than meat. Someone could literally argue that because they have a preference for one over the other. Doesn't mean it's a real argument when you take everything into account, but for one person they can argue that stance and be totally entitled to their opinion.
