Glad you got to checkout Stan and the lead singer Joel Shadbolt from another iconic Kiwi band L.A.B. The 1979 Bob Marley concert at Western Springs Stadium is credited with having a huge influence of the growth of reggae in the country and inspiring many prominent reggae artists The growth of the Rastafarian religion, particularly among Māori, was also a factor in the growth of the genre, so much so that many Maori grew up believing he was our Uncle. He is affectionately known amongst Kiwi's throughout NZ as "Uncle Bob". Stan's "Maori Ki Te Ao" is a nod to the genre. L.A.B also have many great songs crossing multiple genres including Reggae that you might enjoy. Rocketship Why Oh Why Mr Reggae No Roots Proud Man erc... The Reggae rabbit hole is very deep in NZ. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Great stuff . LAB is another NZ reggae band. Have a listen to them and feel their vibe it’s a real great vibe indeed which is why they are a top nz group and very well known and respected down here in nz. Try the official video of their song Rocketship. And their tune called In the air, you won’t be disappointed. Oh yes Stans reggae song called Māori ki te Ao is a very reggae banger. Please take listen and you will be getting down with it no lies.. Blessnz..

Hey Jam Jam. So cool to know you love Bob Marley. I think Stan does too! Just wondering if you've reacted to Stan's song 'Maori ki te Ao' yet? It has a reggae vibe - I'm sure you would enjoy it. ❤❤
