The backup singers are called "The Standard". The Levites are the band. This one, his mashup of Amazing Grace / I Surrender, his rendition of New Light and the song I Am the Colour. Yeah, you're not ready. Look Stan had surgery for the cancer that runs in his family and has no stomach. Well I'm pretty sure that space is now used by an extra pair of LUNGS. Take care all.

It’s been over 2 yrs that this cover was released and to see others react in this way kinda brings me back to listening to it the first time. Stan was the winner of Australian Idol back in ‘09 when I first saw his audition and thought game over!!! This guy is taking it all the way !!!🥇 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😁

Amazing Grace - Stan Walker Live with the Levites. If you do Tua, just know that it’s in our native language of Māori, Bigger is the English version of Tua, so could be good to do both at same time? May do Tua and then bigger in same video🤷‍♂️. Might be good to see what you think it’s saying via Tua then hear see how far off you were via bigger. Do the live versions with the levites, they are the best versions to do...

Yeah he's a child of God and loves to sing songs that worship our Lord. Amazing is right as you said but you need to listen to his version of Amazing Grace live with the Levites again. You will hear more of his vocal range in Gospel and again its amazing. Have subscribed coz you like our boi Stan as we luv him too down here in NZ where he comes from. He also sings songs in his natural maori cultural language also as he is a proud maori native born of warriors of nz.

I watched his documentary. He also wrote a book about his life. This man, raped, beaten and bones broken yet, the beauty if his gift is amazing. When he had his stomach removed because of cancer then, collapsed lung and THEN having to relearn how to sing. He is a living symbol of triumph. His voice is so beautiful. The first time I heard him I thought his voice sounded like church. And my gosh, he's a gift. And as an Indigenous person, he's able to show the culture to the world on his platform. 🎉
