Yea full air ride is the way to go. Coils are nice but the adjusting to get it perfect is so annoying. And with air u can go up and clear all curbs.

You can trim that breather line to near as short as possible to mount the compressor filter as close to the compressor for a cleaner look (just a suggestion, use it don't use it). But otherwise nice one on doing the install yourself. I'm the reseller for Stanceparts here in South Africa and personally use it in my car as well, only I've now customized mine by running 5/3 air valves for stepped height application which means I can now drive with air in the cups and not experience any harsh driving conditions like one would at full lift.

Nice. Got this kit too, about to install but I'm worried about dirt scratching up the inside of the piston. The piston wall is literally the cylinder bore. Surely it's just a matter of time till it starts to leak? 🤔 Ima fabricobble a dust boot from some rubber maybe it'll prolong it's life

You got atleast 2-2.5 inch lift? That's pretty good!! Watched a couple other vids and some are saying they only got 1inch 🤔 I'm seriously considering this but I need 2inch min. lift for it to be worth it.. currently lowered on ksport coilovers .. reasonable low ride height for daily somewhat.. still avoid speed bumps/ sketchy driveways and live in the bay area,cali .. I love my ride height where it is now and I believe I still have 2.5 ...maybe 3 inch of thread left...i think.. would you have to make it lower for it to work to give a decent lift?

No different at all when aired down. When u air up the front gets stiff cuz the cup pushes on the spring to compress it to lift the car. So it's very firm. But for pulling In a driveway low speeds it's no big deal

That Won’t work. The cup kit is not meant to be driven on aired up. You might as well get bags

A mod I would never do to my GS F but to all their own. It's just you get to a certain age where air bags are cheesy and what you put on your car it's for kids you're my opinion the GSF has a sport-tuned suspension what more do you want you're robbing from the car just my opinion to all their own your car do what you want it's just my opinion I would never do this. I just think it's for kids.

I'm sorry but you are very mistaken. Did you watch the whole video? I have coilovers to replace the factory suspension because the oem suspension on the 2016 is trash. Harsh ride. Crashy over bumps. Ask anyone they will tell u that. The coils made the ride 1000x better and smoother and more enjoyable. The cup kit is not air bags it's simply an add on over top of the coil to be able to lift up to clear driveways and steep curbs. But if you enjoy your stock suspension and the huge wheel gap that it comes with that's ur cup of tea not mine.

Not robbing the car of any performance with air cups as you are still driving static (so you have normal coil spring drive quality and rebound with the ability to raise the vehicle when you need extra clearance).
