Byakuya tip for the people who wanna play him: always end your combo with Scatter (4), because once you do this you change movesets and you save your combo extender (1) in petal mode, and using 4 just does more damage. Another one is the 3rd move can be cancelled with an m1 and it will do a tracking yellow circle stun move thingy, but it can be blocked.

The Senkei follows him. It's not a cage fight situation like Law's room. It's basically just an indicator for the range of his 1 and his 4 while in Senkei stance.

Byakuya’s Shikai weakness is pretty noticeable. Despite having good range, it is slow enough for someone to easily win an M1 trade or to attack after a block. Weakness aside, Byakuya seems to be pretty solid as a character.

@@Themondaythatleftyoubroken dosent matter Both of his modes can only do 60 damage to you at max when you get comboed and switching mode constantly is actually harder than it seems because the stance cool-down changed depending on how well you played in each from and how fast you keep switching overall he’s actually really well balanced and I hope the other characters get some damage nerfs so no character can do 90 damage in a combo anymore because that’s just so stupid

i love how byakuyas gokei does about the same dmg hollow ichigos ult does, on block they both leave them at 112 and theres only a 10 dmg difference otherwise, fyi for anyone wondering why he wasnt changing modes in training its cause of the weird interaction between infinite mode and switching modes, if you have infinite mode on you cant switch between modes (applies to base too)

Turns out you can use Divided Performance when m1ing, you just can't be too close kinda have to be at the edge of the hitbox to be able to combo into it, this is the case since it's distance-based has nothing to do with whether or not your m1ing

You can’t change stances in training because the game bugs when you have Inf mode and no cool-downs if you turn those off and reset it will work

this character is disgusting, it has absolutely no counterplay I've tried everything from dodging to attacking to blocking, it doesnt even matter that this character has no super/hyper armor, you just spam your moves and once it lands which it will 99% of the time you get a free combo that does about 80% your health and dont even get me started with that awakening, I hope the nerfs are soon.

@@avian5677 honestly maybe theres something I am doing wrong because the character is still pretty new, I'd say I am immortal just because I have pretty much learned to fight against every character in the past. But byakuya's combo starter gimmick where he flashsteps to you and slashes you twice is like something I've found unable to counter. If I try to attack it doesn't really work, if I try to double jump and walk away from it he just has semi tracking and if I try to block it, well I get guard broken. Idk what to really do against that move but its just so free for some odd reason. In high elo you see people abusing byakuya all the time, every fight has just been piccolo and byakuya and "high elo" doesn't really care about new characters they just care about abusing characters.
