@@kellymead1139 Thanks for the reaffirmation, it helps one decide. But I would need to be able to generate an income from such a large property to pay for its upkeep(it would need a large staff). Would that be possible in Peak District? I need highly intellectual people with an accent that I can comprehend, would that also be possible in Peak District? I've never lived away from a major city, so need the cafes, restaurants and nightlife to be not too far and to be accessible even late at night. I'd have preferred a place like Maidenhead, close to London on the Elizabeth line, or a another place close to Cambridge for access to highly educated people and the venues offered by the city, but if Peak District has all of those, then this, truly, is a lovely property.
