This was my first real taste of knocked loose. This entire album just hit me like a ton of bricks. Every song from the tone, the message, the melodies, and the sheer nonstop aggression really connected more so than any other album this year. They have been getting a ton of attention this year and it is so deserved.

This. I wasn't a big fan of the vocals and didn't really get the hype, but then this album came out. It just clicked for me.

If you love the ending of this then would absolutely recommend their 2 song EP deep in the willow/everything is quiet now. They made a single extended video for it too and it has everything that makes KL one of the greats

I only recently got into Knocked Loose but they've become my favorite band which is an impressive spot to fill as I listen to A LOT of music. Something about the music and Bryan's vocals just caught my ear and I fell in love. It's heavy but there's depth to the songs, it's not just trying to be heavy for the sake of it. Also, air drum to your hearts content, screw anyone who has a problem with it, it's your channel, your reaction so who cares.

I’ve been mourning my mom passing for over a year now. This song is an outlet lyrically but this whole album is freaking incredible. Take Me Home makes me feel like I’m on the set of a horror movie (I mean that in the best way possible as I’m sure it’s supposed to feel that way and they did a damn good job) and The Calm that Keeps you Awake is another favorite. The whole album is just perfect to me though honestly. I didn’t think they’d be able to top A Tear in the Fabric of Life but they crushed it.

Sorry to hear about your mother's passing, I'm glad you have some solace in the lyrics in this album. It's never easy and I hope you're doing better now and in the future. Music helps me cope with a lot as well. Wishing you and your family all the best 🧡

I love this album, my favorite this year. This track is my favorite on the album. To have such a somber track closing out a horror movie vibe of a record hits *just* right. Just incredible.

I love the end of that song. The spacial effect on the guitar made the rest of the instrumentation feel more compressed and in your face. That hook felt good.

Before "You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To" dropped, I had never heard Knocked Loose, and I didn't like hardcore. It became my AotY. Brilliant record. ... until "Songs of a Lost World" by The Cure dropped. That's my current AotY, and I think it's a heavier record. Yeah, I said it.

Album of the year and this is my favorite song from the album. Arguably their best song ever. You should do an entire album review (it’s only 28 minutes long).

Chase have you not heard the rest of the album?? Dude you gotta react to Suffocate

I wasn't super impressed with Suffocate ft. Poppy when it was released, but it just might be the single best song of the year. It's really great.

Such a nice album closer! Love hearing the first song (Thirst) and this one right after - not sure why but just like the duality of those two songs I guess.

Also; I love the drumming on this album. So air drum away my friend!

Your air drumming nailed it throughout the traditional parts. Best song off the album being the last. Whole album is great, but this one…
