Poppy is bloody awesome, people have an impression she is just weird synth pop but her alt-metal phase was awesome. Bite Your Own Teeth, Concrete, I Disagree, all absolute bangers. VAN with Bad Omens is an awesome collab too.

I think you should check out "Doomswitch" by Make Them Suffer. It's like the middle ground between Knocked Loose and Spiritbox. Poppy also does a song "V.A.N" with Bad Omens that is really good.

Not the strong hand and the mashed potatoes 😂 anyways, this song is a 100% USDA certified prime banger lol it took me a while to get into Knocked Loose and it wasn’t until they put out their two singles that were released before this album that I was like ya know what, I do like this. Definitely not for everybody though! Poppy killed it here. Her and Brian have such a similar vocal tone. And that reggaeton breakdown is everything lol thanks for checking it out!

@@dna2001 I’m not sure if this one would better suit you, but they released a song on this album called Sit & Mourn and it’s a very different and unexpected vibe to their usual stuff. More melodic and ambient. The first time I listened I was taken aback, but especially because of the emotions it made me feel. Something I hadn’t felt in a while. It’s the longest song on the album but there aren’t a whole lot of vocals. A good majority of it is just the music. Still heavy, but in a different way. The lyrics get me too. So if ya ever do wanna revisit them I think that song would be a good choice to give a try.

Try Sit and Mourn, it's more ambient than the rest. By far their most underrated aspect to them is their ambience

Knocked Loose is definitely a tough band to get into. The first several times I heard them I hated them. But then one day, I put on one of their songs, and suddenly everything just clicked. The best analogy I’ve heard for them is they’re like a horror movie. Their music is designed to make you scared and angry and uncomfortable. But also like horror movies, there are some people who enjoy when media makes them feel those things, and others who don’t.

Yea Bryan's screams for me are just not for me. I do like a few songs but just can't listen to a whole album of his screams.
