I am not Zimbabwean but their national anthem gives me goosbumps. I play it over and over again such that I have learned even the Shona lyrics now. May God bless this nation and see it to the prosperity her children pray for. Amen

I remember doing grade 9 in Zimbabwe in 2007, Trust Academy High School, in Harare, I didn't know Shona and the school prefects were forcing everyone to sing the lyrics perfectly 😭😭😭... Everyday I told my mother I wanted to return to South Africa

Never has our anthem been done so well. Never have i been so proud that i literally got my family together to witness and experience this with me. It's like prayers of old, a dream yet to be realized but alive in each and everyone of us. I remember when we had to chose between the 2 version of this, only now do i think we made the right choice.
