Peace Uncle Rom! I was at the DMV a couple months back for testing. I had to empty my pockets before entering the testing room and realized I forgot to leave my blade in the car (it's second nature to keep one on me) so I asked the clerk, Black Woman, to put it with the rest of my things. Another clerk, Black Woman, was standing next to her and said "Glad you remembered because we all can feel a little safer now". I responded with "You Ladies should feel a little safer knowing that I have that to PROTECT you if something popped off in here". They couldn't say anything after that. It was disappointing how they immediately went into the mind-frame of how I would potentially use it to hurt them and not to protect them. #ProtectMasculinity

Was just having this conversation with one of the rare few people I talk to at work. Masculinity is a dying breed and without it, society crumbles and becomes weakened as a result, but my late grandfather almost told me he importance of being a MAN. Say what you mean, mean what you say, never apologize for being real and honest, have a backbone, and stand up and be willing to die for your beliefs because you'll be tested constantly throughout life to see just how strong your masculinity is and you'll need to be ready.

100% a needed message. just recently a female in my family tried to get inna physical altercation with me over standing firm in my masculinity. one of my cousins had to pull her off me and check her since she was acting out of pocket & not in her lane (feminine side).

Thank you Mr.Wills for the knowledge! I have an quote on my refrigerator that was given to me over 5 years ago that says this “ The emasculation of men is speeding up. Men will be searching for those that know the truth. Be the source”

Integrity and Conviction fellas. As long as you adhere to your moral code or concious you're good to go. Have a set of rules or guidelines that you shall never break. You can tweak it as you grow older, that's becoming wise. You should be willing to die for what you believe in. It's an extreme example but it's the truth. Before you know it, you'll become a very authentic individual. I believe it's the basis of being a man. Whether you are religious or not, the principle is the same. Bottom line respect yourself

That was my show. My favorite episode was when Roc jacked up a drug dealer letting him know to stay from his family. It's not an accident that reruns of Roc are hard to find. A college professor friend of mind addressed that issue with her class

Facts Unc, recently lost a job for standing on my square & defending my coworker as well. My manager was intimidated by the fact I was better at the job & a better leader than her & it didn’t help that I ignored her advances. It’s even worse you’re a bm in a environment of shadow men so it rubs people the wrong way but me standing on who & what I am as a man was more important to me than a job.

Ohh don’t get me started on this one. Let’s just say the other day I had a situation that involved the police. For a min now there’s been certain situations that been testing my masculinity but I stood strong each time. But this last situation really showed me the path that I need to take. I read this quote that said something like “sometimes a bad situation isn’t a bad situation, you just needed to go through it so you’re ready for the next step”. If there’s an attack on your masculinity be happy, be grateful. The reality is “hard times make strong man” is true as shit, if you’re going through it, you’re meant for it, embrace it. Even if it means death, then so be it

Uncle rom, it getting worse in the school that I worked at. As a man you got to protect yourself but a female doesn't need to. People get shocked when I tell people that I see a female abused a kid (people think I was telling a lie). If a male did it no one would be shocked. In a talk about children mental health problems the person started to talk about "toxic masculinity". I said not this bs and I got really mad.

These people think they want to blow with the wind and be this and that and the other until they get caught up in the chaos that comes with that in the end. People will learn the hard way as they always do. I've had conversations with people that are on this ultra progressive stuff.......I'll tell them yeah my community was the first to embrace all that stuff and look where we are at now. Usually the reply is silence.

It's going to be like this for a while too, especially since we are in the Age of Aquarius. Speaking of, many of the issues women, rather, females (women don't bait or attack men) have is they aren't connected to the universe. What the ladies are doing now clearly isn't working and is the direct reason for conflict between men, women, and themselves today. If a critical mass of women aligned themselves spiritually with the universe, they would have a much better understanding of who they are and others around them. Sort of like the House of the Man and House of the Woman, except it is something that is actualized and realized at a VERY young age. Interacting with the average woman, and man, it is quite clear an overwhelming majority of people have no clue who they are, what they are about, and what things they stand for. In my opinion, the lack of understanding oneself is the critical reason for society's issues and general fear of true Masculinity and Femininity. Let's keep it real, calling honest, hardworking, career-minded men 'Squares', and calling women who are sweet, kind, at peace with themselves and understand that women have different roles in relationships and life than men as 'Pickme', is completely disrespectful and needs to end immediately. It is getting ridiculous out here.
