Hi Andrew - this was a great synthesis of the human spirit and mind. I really appreciate your work and the interview; Dr. James summarizes in an objective way the journey of the human soul, it is a great explanation of the soul through the current 2024 lenses of science and society. The practice of the Orthodox Christian religion, the oldest Christian religion, fills in the gaps and missing questions. Both of you are illuminated, but there is a higher step, when you seek the divinity and divinity illuminates you and you get the certainty of life after death and a lot more. Thank you for your great work and I hope God will iluminate you with his wisdom.

I got hit by psychosis and depression at the beginning of my twenties. It took me some time to heal and align to the purpose of my soul. I had to let go of ego's expectations and find my natural flow. Still work to do but existential suffering is now taken care of and I don't question anymore all the meaning when something challenging happens. Summarizing my experience i would say that i had to let go of my mind and use a deeper wisdom based on trust and listening. I suggest that everybody cultivates this side of them in order to be more flexible and ready in the face of lifes hard and unexpected challenges, this offers a healthy coping mechanism and adaptation strategy, that you can apply to anything in life... so it is worth trying. One of the most enriching podcast topics and experience sharing sessions I've encountered, thank you Andrew and Dr. James for this enlightening discussion. It's something everyone should definitely listen to, taking time to introspect periodically, no matter their current life stage and condition. Moving forward, I will certainly integrate the "Shut Up, Suit Up, Show Up" mantra into my routine after each meditation session.

This has been my meditation and exit from stimulus-response pattern. I am a grown up man in my mid 40s and I teared throughout this podcast. God, how come I missed so much of life? Where did all it disappear? Why did I have to make all the mistakes?

Thank you Dr. Huberman. I cannot possibly convey the gratitude I have for you as an educator, scientist, and role model. As a young man trying to find his place in the world, I thank you on behalf of the millions of people like myself who have been guided by your work during times when we were lost in the darkness. I listened to this a week before a huge bomb got dropped on my life during an already extremely difficult year. I have listened to this podcast probably more than 15 times and started reading Dr. Hollis books. I have navigated this time in my life with more clarity and grace thanks to this podcast and being introduced to Dr. Hollis work. Thank you Dr. Huberman! P.s. - you have the influence to get Dr. Hollis and Jordan Peterson in the same room and it would be a great service to humanity ❤

Please don’t take it for granted. I was in the same boat until last year when I became one of the >200k tech workers that got laid off. 15 year career over with zero notice. Anything can happen. Wring the most out of your life like it ends tomorrow!

This episode is a diamond amongst the WEB information clutter. I will keep it and come back to it as much as I can. I could listen Dr. Hollis for more several hours. In 4 days I am going to my first 10 days Vipassana course and I will watch this episode again before I go. Thank you so much Dr Hubermann.

Thank you so much for having Dr. James Hollis share his wealth of information. There's so much information to choose from, it's hard to know what is the most beneficial in the long run. I have found, in the past 52 years since I started my first question, that the answers do manifest, on the path I have chosen to follow. At first it was with faith, courage and discipline. Eventually the direct experience happened. And it's still evolving. It always will.
