Stand up and shout - DIO (Drum Cover)

Stand up and shout by DIO. This one was a bit tricky to upload since it was blocked when using backing tracks from the original recording. A big thanks to Chris for recording guitar and bass on such short notice. Only DIO's vocals are from the original track.

I record and mix through a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 (first gen)

Kick: 2 x 22"x18"
Toms: 10", 12", 13", 16"
Snare: 14"x5.5"
Cymbals:
Various, mainly Sabian
Microphones:
Audix D6, i5, D2, D4, ADX 51
Heads:
Kick: Remo Powerstroke 4
Toms: Remo Emperor Coated
Snare: Aquarian Hi-energy
Sticks:
Vater 3AN
DAW:
I use Reaper for the little editing I do and a few master plugins. Will probably mix in the box more later on, but for now I think I will stick with the StudioLive until I feel I've got the hang of it 🙂.

Some observations from watching almost all of your covers: -Quality is better than quantity. -Tuned drums are better than untuned ones. -One camera is better than multiple when positioned correctly. -High subscriber count doesn't mean great drummer. -Stick twirling isn't indicative of great skills. -No advertisements or plugins, just straight off drumming. -No distracting background or lighting. -And last but not the least, great choice of songs. The only other drummer I know that's the same as you is Josh Steffen. Keep up the great work Staffan. And congratulations on 1000 subscribers!

I explained it in the text: my friend re-recorded the guitar and bass, so only the vocals are from Dio’s original track. 🤓
