There is an amazing parallel between 2022 and 2003. In 2003 K State defeated Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game, Oklahoma went on to play for the National Championship and lost to LSU. In 2022 K State defeated TCU in the Big 12 Championsip Game and then TCU went on to play in the National Championship game where they were embarrased by Georgai 65-7
