The moments at 12:54 and 15:39 are THE quintessential Verde River experience 😁. I must agree when you say that you "earned it" 👍 I am waiting to see what Tangle Creek looked like by the time you passed through. Thanks again for sharing this adventure!

Thanks for sharing I grew up in Prescott and my dad would drive us to Camp Verde to river fish. Great times and cool to see it from a different view.

Thanks for sharing. Looks so different than when I went through a couple years ago.

@dustman96 yeah the big flood that year (2023 spring) definetly pumped a load of water for awhile thru even the upper verde river bits and rearranged the river as you said, in many spots. The west clear confluence also blew my mind... totally rearranged as I passed at that time so much from what had been immediately prior the 50000cfs plus pulses.

@technocreator2054 Means a lot man thank you bro.... stuff in the next bunch of episodes will definetly ratchet way up too on the technical whitewater and I deployed a few tripod shots dropping verde falls and punk rock rapids that I think will add a great extra perspective.

The place we fished had a nice sandy camping area with a deep pool for fishing and had a shallow cave directly across from the deep pool. It was probably private access back then but my dad had a friend who lived in Camp Verde. If that rings a bell Id love to see a video or pics.
