This year, JQ International has had the privilege of partnering with the LA vs Hate to share a message of unity, hope, and strength.
LA vs Hate is a community-centered organization designed to support residents of Los Angeles County of all races, ethnicities, religions, languages, gender identities, sexual orientations, and more. Together, our organizations aim to inspire people to stand up against hate and support individuals and communities as they heal from the trauma of discrimination. Reporting hate helps LA County track trends so we can better direct resources to those in need.
The intersectionality of the JQommunity puts our constituents at great risk of experiencing hate and discrimination. LGBTQ+ Jews have faced rising queerphobia and antisemitism, and our Jews of Color face the added burden of racism.
Reporting is the first step to stop hate. Call 2-1-1 or visit www.LAvsHate.org/report-hate to report an incident to LA Vs. Hate.
We invite you to watch our debut video showcasing the strength and diversity of LGBTQ+ Jews. You can also participate in United Against Hate Week September 21-27 to stand in solidarity against all hate across LA and California.
If reporting is the first step to stop hate, building inclusive communities is the next. We encourage you to explore all that LA Vs. Hate and JQ International has to offer. Together, we can all connect, learn, and thrive in a world that welcomes everyone, excludes no one, and operates on love and equity instead of hate and oppression.
