Edit: I'm a dumbass and missed that they can activate the Field of Ruin before the land gets ward protecting it. I'm leaving my comment for posterity though as evidence that this is a hard game with complicated rules. Tbh, that's part of what makes it fun. Original comment: It was actually missed lethal at 24:10. They can activate field of ruin with treasures, but they can't pay the ward cost when they target the giant. Lier doesn't prevent the effect from being countered because Lier only says "spells" can't be countered. I'm not gonna blame streamer though because that's a lot of semantic nonsense to sift through, and I went back and forth for a while as I realized each step of the rules.

You can't pay the cleave cost on a card you are flashing back with Lier.

The relevant ruling is "You can't cast a spell for both its cleave cost and another alternative cost." Lier gives you an alternative way to cast your spells and says "The flashback cost is equal to that card's mana cost" which counts as an alternative cost. Feels weird though.
