That's a big undertaking and I give you credit for doing that . Final results look great and your 76 is looking extremely good. I really appreciate the time and care you do towards your C3 projects. You've got a great machine ! Keep it up. Next up on my project list is the core support and I'm not looking forward to that lol.

Hey Jonathan, right? Good to hear from you. I binge-watched your 77 Vette videos between last night and this morning. lol 😆 I thought I was particular about details, but after watching your videos on the power steering ram restoration I think I’ll have to concede. Haha. For a second I thought you were going to start polishing it to a chrome finish 😳 but it turned out beautiful painted black. BTW, you may want to try Eastwood’s Underhood Black. It looks like the factory paint they used back then. The rad core support is a PITA to deal with, but you do good work so I’m sure you’ll have no problem replacing it. And while you’re there, you may want to swap the radiator for an aluminum one. Just a thought. Stay in touch. 😊👍🏻

Ive got a 1975-78 custom eklers corvette that was built by a drug runner in the 80s. His accomplice turned him in and he ran from the cops, destroyed the front fender on a curb then gave it to his lawyer who then sold it to my gpa, who stripped it down, had a subdermal hematoma and forgot where he was with it, so he sold it to me in a pile of parts but I had no idea how to assemble the steering column or what I needed, this video showed me exactly what parts I'm missing and how to put it all together, thank you so so much man your a lifesaver💯🙏

Nice video. i have 1969 . cant figure out how to remove the inner part of the column that has that connects to the tranny cable
