Ayeeeee! So last summer, I was feeling nostalgic for this album (Standard of Language by Kenny Garrett). I searched all the streaming services and youtube and couldn't find it anywhere. I eventually found on Kenny's website a link to a CD for sale, and I ordered it immediately. Once it arrived, it was the only thing playing in my car for the next month. I probably listened to it over 20 times. This entire album is gold! Needless to say, this is one of my all-time favorite compositions, and a beast of a tune. Can't thank you enough for sharing this rendition with us. You just made my day. And incredible playing!

Another great play. Wes Montgomery was the best at improvising. What made Wes so great with his playing, Wes could swing and play free without duplication even when he play the same notes, they always sound different. Warren has this and more. This is taught. Nobody showed Warren this greatness. It's in Warren heart, his spirit. You can feel the music. When artist can play a note or a line and you feel goosebumps because of the music, that artist is special and many times stands alone mainly because there are no equals.
