Ha- ya I stumbled on & enjoyed your vid with the Kodak Sound 8mm. I have the same unit ( found it used in a camera store in mid 70s.) they are well built and After making a rca line out jack from vol control on it, hooked it up to a laptop a couple years ago. (The magnetic track is actually called a “stripe” only 1/16 wide, amazing it worked that good. Back in 1963 I found out about Fairchild’s “Cinephonic” and talked my Dad into getting a sales demo unit early model (turret lens) camera and the sound projector combo- We had the usual problems with battery life, noisy germanium transistors, etc, I went off to college and then Vietnam - while my brothers messed the films up esp sprocket holes ! (Sold the Fairchild proj before they ruined it). I’ve finally gotten around to restoring the films myself so what I have is better than nothing. Also amazed at the durability of the rubber parts ! .. its great the recording head held up - as good luck finding parts or a good parts machine. Yeah - was pricy back then, prob wasn’t a major marketing success for consumers, probably got more business.. I see you have a movie stuff scanner - my old films sprockets so bad after I spliced /repaired what I could I had it scanned on a retro 8 then rejoined sound & pix in desktop PC editing program.. Anyway-nice to see your vid.

Hello, I have a 1962 Kodak Sound 8 model 1E projector and need the sound bulb (not the projection bulb). 9-pin vacuum tube, would you know where I could find one?
