At the risk of sounding like a creepy middle aged woman (I’m not creepy!) I am so impressed with Andrew! The way he thinks and expresses himself, his kindness and enthusiasm for life and learning make him such an attractive person. Plus he’s so cute!! I hope that you guys stay on KZbin long enough for us to see the lucky young people who will pair up with your amazing children.

Everyone in this family is truly authentic, all know thyself, all are taught to learn & grow their full potential, & they do!!! I love them all, but as a writer too & thought pondering intellectual balanced with a big heart too... Andrew is kindred to me in that. I get what you mean, you're simply saying he's growing up to become a fine young well educated good man. Andrew's going places in his future with his writing. Elijah's photography & cinematography skills he's now using for his travel youtube channel. I know it will prosper. Daniel will be an amazing chef, his creativity, I see a steller inner strength ninja chi if you will within him, paired with a true gentle heart..., Esther so sweet so kind & giving..I feel she will be given back with being highly saught after & highly recommended to book for wedding & prom special occassion elegant hairdos, styles, Asher a future building contractor & specialty welder, & the rest of this awrsome clan who are the younger of the family & still honing their crafts, interests, skill sets...up & coming is Peter next, they will flourish too... with STELLAR PARENTS THAT MIKE/MEGAN ARE. They GET IT how to home school is teaching your children HOW TO LEARN & LEARN WHAT YOU LOVE, (after learning the basics we all need to know to be well rounded level educated in society). Public school doesnt hone specialty skills. Mike & Megan abled to gave their kids the truest gift to find & grow their true potentials & true interests & to later thrive from them in life. Megan is an amazing mother instrumental to getting this accomplished for her family!!! And it is one of the best gifts parents can give as well as the gift to see the world vs sit in front of a tv. And, they're giving Eve her best life possible, she's full of laughter & joy. It makes me tear up a little. I LOVE this family so much. All of them are my kind of people. A family any soul would be blessed to land in such a good nest to be born into. Coming from foster care myself, in my youth, its even more special to watch. Their christian faith so sacred & dear to them too, living by it truly. I love them even more for that too. Tgey care for their childrens salvation. I raised my children nearly the same as Mike & Megan's ideals. But on a smaller budget. But big heart which matters the most. Just as their biggest achievement as parents are aside the fact they can afford to travel with their children too. Thats simply the icing on the cake. ❤ I feel so blessed to share their journey & the examples they show the world of what a true American Christian family is & should be. 😊 🕊✨️⚜️👑💎🤟

I'm a big CS Lewis fan, too. Greatness doesn't seem to come from grand gestures but from ordinary people moving forward in ordinary ways that somehow get noticed. It's important to improve our own corners of the world and our own selves in our own families. That is what makes greatness.

I found myself becoming very emotional at Andrew’s observations on creating grand works. I think my emotions come from a realisation that these ordinary people become conduits to a divine source that requires of them to bring fourth this work into the world.

When you live in such a beautiful country you become used to it and often forget just how gorgeous it is. Thank you for reminding me. I am fortunate enough to live completely surrounded in history. Mainly Naval history with HMS Victory, the Mary Rose etc but also a lot of stunning historic places. I worked in Gunwharf Quays when it was being developed from an old ammunition base and then moved across the water (to my hometown of Gosport- Gods Port) to Royal Clarence Yard which made all of the bread etc for the war ships and I loved listening to the archaeologists stories when they told us and showed us what they had found during the excavations and searching in the old historic buildings. I even got to stand under the railway bridge which stored Queen Victoria body overnight when she was taken from her home on the Isle of Wight to London. It had a very spooky feel to it. That bit of track is still there along with a small section of the bridge. My children have grown up with us taking them to all of the wonderful places around us but now I feel that we need to revisit all of these places and start to investigate further afield. Xxx

Mike was the star of this video. Sticky date pudding, jam and cream scones. It's all about the food. My husband says that food is the sixth love language. Andrew's talk about ordinary people who wrote extraordinary books that influenced the world was inspiring. Wow. I'm so glad Megan got to see some English homes (CS Lewis and Jane Austen) and I'm sure we'll see that influence more of her decisions in creating her family home. Outstanding content. I love your channel. Wholesome, interesting content. I think you are an extraordinary family living life to the fullest. Giving each of your children rich experiences. Family goals right here. xo

Years ago when we visited The Kilnes, I was carrying my very heavy and sleeping 2 year old. The tour guide told me to just put the baby in Mr. Lewis’s bed since the door to the house was locked anyway. So that is a bit of story in our family. Like Andrew, I was struck by the ordinariness of CS Lewis’s home. Mike oblivious about the Emma movie…I mean, the man was probably at Home Depot 9 of 10 times Eve was watching that movie. And then the part about returning to the Cotswolds for the dessert. 🤣. Loved it!!!

I’ve watched your family since before you left on the RV trip. It’s crazy how fast the kids are growing up. But o too loved this series. But o love everything your family puts out. But I had to chuckle thinking back to the grief you used to get from the haters about the term unschooling. No one can ever say your children were not schooled. Andrew is so well read, and all of the kids are so well rounded. Great job! Even though it’s sad to see them grow and leave it’s great to watch them come into their own and be the amazing people you two raised them to be.
