I've been to The Comedy Cellar about a dozen times and I almost always went to the last show of the evening. The comedians are usually loosened up, some have had a few drinks in them, and they also don't have to worry about time and their set goes as long as they want it to. Almost every single time I went (to the original location), Godfrey closed the show. He always killed it. He's such a natural and it's easy to see why he was always tapped to be the closer in a small room full of strong comics.

Because the industry such as Comedy Central isn’t the same as it was back in the day with it’s unfair treatment of ppl. However he is on MTV’s “Wilding Out” hosted by Nick Cannon. So please y’all go check him out if y’all really enjoy him and the entertainment he provides. We can all agree that should laugh and smile a little more especially in hard times like this.
