I’m an California Aggie and I saw this happen at least 4 or 5 times in the regional because we played at every game at night. Stanford decided to play the early game Friday for this reason. It’s a brutal way to go out. To add on to it the grass gets wet and fog comes in at night, it’s some strange elements to play in.

Really, kind of unfortunate. Unfortunate for the spirit of the competition. I would see it as akin to winning due to a competitor slipping on a wet surface, something like that.

Texas fans were chanting "Omaha" towards the Razorbacks earlier this season taunting them over the missed foul ball....... this is karma at its best. Their fan base deserves this.

Huh? Texas fans never chanted that. And it doesn’t change the fact that our fanbase has seen our team win 6 of what your team will never win 😂 if there’s anything that’s deserved, it’s the perpetual mediocrity of Arkansas sports because of their reject fans 😂😂😂

I think it has to touch a player for it to count as an error. Like if it hits one of their gloves but bounces right out, it'd be an error.
@nairda38
@nairda38 5 ай бұрын
@@ThreeEyedPeaErrors are subjective calls. It doesn’t have to touch the fielder, but it has to be hit to the fielder in such a way that the out could have been made had the fielder not made a mistake (fielders running into each other resulting in a ball dropping into the field of play can be an error against the out-of-position fielder, for instance). If a fielder saw the ball and then it just fell to the side, that could subjectively be called an error, but here, the fielders never had the opportunity to make the out because they never saw the ball, so the scorekeeper recorded it in their view as a single base hit (to center) RBI.

I feel for the coach most of all. Year in year out - he has teams that can when it all. Sucks more when you see Ole Miss and State Win it all then quickly dwindle down ( ugh-gain) to the bottom of the league (ugh-gain). Fitting for all of their programs. Memba that year when football was #1 & 2 in November then crashed, burned and disappeared? Nope. No one else either. Last year Ole Miss was ranked 7 before LSU sent them to the back of the line to be spoilers at best- just like the rest of their programs- Men’s and Women’s. Am I wrong?
