At approximately 4:04 the fumble by the Stanford qb on 4th & 1, even though it was recovered by a Stanford player past the first-down marker, was a turnover on downs. The officials made the right call. On any fourth-down play, a fumble by the runner or receiver must be recovered by the same player who fumbled, or else it is a turnover downs. If this rule were not in place, a runner on a fourth-down play who sees that he is going to be brought down before the line to make could just fumble the ball forward, with a roughly 50-50 chance of a teammate recovering it for a first down.

Having a football game while millions are without power,food, and so much more but good ole Clemson has power.... I lost family in Asheville and I can't get gas or find power to call them because Clemson decided to have a football game during all this. From the bottom of my heart thank you for making my life that much more difficult during these hard times. I hope you count that ticket revenue twice. Oh and thanks for the ridiculous attempt at saying you will help everyone days after 😂........ Yeah I'm good already got it taken care of but I had to nearly run out of gas and sit in ridiculously long lines because they had to have their precious football game. Shame on you Clemson. Shame on you. That greed shined bright as we sit in the dark no power, no food, meanwhile it's business as usual for the stadium. Meanwhile I'm out clearing trees in the dark using headlights low on gas and all I see is those precious lights from the stadium shining bright. Now I know where the resources went they kept telling me about..... Stay classy in your cow pasture.

Your government should of provided the help you need not a University. Afterall they knew the storm was coming and that resources would be needed. Stop blaming Clemson for a natural disaster.

I think the reason Clemson had the game, was to give people something to look forward to during the massive flood! Something to take their minds off the flood for a couple of hours! 🙏
