یک فیلم عالی و تاثیرگذار.امیر نادری،ضمن نمایش بخش هایی از فیلم کوتاه " سفر " کارنامه ی سینمایی بهرام بیضائی را هم مرور کرده است.او،لابلای صحنه هایی از فیلم،از نمای درشت و خیلی درشت از چشم های بیضائی استفاده کرده است.چشم هایی که تمام مدت،نگران سرنوشت دو کودک " سفر " و همه ی شخصیت های آثارش هستند.

سالها دنبال این فیلم بودم که ببینم اما پیدا نمیکردم. واقعا لذت بردم و به فکر فرو رفتم که جامعه‌ی ایران فقط ظاهرش فرق کرده اما باطنش همینی هست که در فیلم نشون داده شد. دیالوگی که نظرمو جلب کرد، این بود: اگر بخوابیم که نمی‌رسیم. امیدوارم مردم خواب‌زده‌ی ایران روزی از خواب غفلت بیدار بشن و به مقصد سعادت برسن.

Another heinous propaganda tactic of Mr. Beizai's Mafia is the misuse of the Stanford University name. While that might not be much in the United States (since anyone can show films from different producers at any college), ordinary people here are misled into thinking that this great perjurer, who shamelessly and stupidly copies the work of great directors from Akiro Korsawa to Ingmar Bergman and Jean-Luc Godard is celebrated by Stanford University.

What are you talking about? Beyzaie has been teaching at Stanford for ten years in a named professorship. Stanford is about to present a two-day conference dedicated to celebrating Beyzaie. Of course he is celebrated by Stanford University. And what on earth do you mean by calling him a perjurer? I highly doubt if his work was as derivative as you suggest that he would be held in such high esteem in world of global cinema with Criterion Collection releases of his work readily available.

@@richardchason Hmmm! a "professorship" -- Really?! Obviously, you're not Orthodox :). FYI. He is a lecturer -- not even an assistant professor! According to Stanford's "Persons holding this title are not members of the Academic Council, or the Academic Staff, nor do they accrue time toward tenure by length of service." Iranians, unorthodox ones, gathered for a ridiculous propaganda spectacle, starting with Mr Milani's thesaurus laden presentation -- to hide his empty rhetoric. Unfortunately, you may not be fluent in Persian to appreciate how silly and incoherent the different presentations were. The sad thing is that these presenters are including these bizarre assertions in their CVs as their research papers presented at Stanford!!

@@capitalmarketsandinternati1501 I'm very curious why you feel so much rage toward Beyzaie and this series of videos from Stanford. What exactly is making you write all this so emotionally? Are you a disgruntled former student of Beyzaie's, or something? I'm just curious why you feel so strongly about all this.
