イタリアでのブーニンのモーツァルト…。多分ですが、当時ナポリに住んでいた、現在私の所に24年間調律に来て頂いている、日本人の調律したスタインウェイをブーニンが弾いて、モーツァルトのレコーディングに立ち会ったと聞いています。彼はイタリアにいた時にパバロッティーのコンサート調律も担当したそうで…。 演奏の裏の方でも日本人がブーニンに携わっていた…と思ったら嬉しいです。

Everytime Bunin's performances are out of this world. He has such poetry and immagination. He can produces more nuances of tone in a misure of music than thousand of pianists in a lifetime. His sound is a miracle. Why does he not perform in public anymore? This a tragedy for all the musical world! Thank you so much for the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bunin may well give the best interpretation of this neglected concerto. Mitsuka Uchida is also great, but Bunin nails every phrase and moreover owns the golden tone of his legendary ancestors, the protagonists of the russian school. Thanks to ADGO for uploading.
