Stormbringer makes Storm want to cast spenders before Stormstrike, which fixes the most toxic part of Storm. The second most toxic part is DRE. If we could get rid of DRE and just have a shorter CD Ascendance? Like, a 45s CD, 6s duration? Yeah, sign me up. Or longer duration with active CDR from spending Maelstrom.

Big agree! I'm somewhat hoping for a lower CD on Asc & that it has 2 charges. Then you can either weave em in as needed OR pop em back 2 back for a longer CD. I'll be fine with it just having a low CD/duration but having charges would mean you could use it as a long CD to line with burst windows/BL etc!

I feel like DRE ascendance should always pop Tempest no matter what youre primed for right? I dont have alpha but I was watching Max play it and it looks like if youre primed Chain Lightning in DRE procs then itll still chose chain lightning, probably not optimal right?

It does work that way! So If asc is up & you're primed for CL & tempest procs you have to manually press it. If you're primed for LB it will cast tempest on windstrike. Also IF you're primed for CL & you cast tempest you will still be primed for CL. Having it always pop tempest during asc would be a nice QoL BUT it could also mean we'll eat alot of arc discharge charges (instant CL + 75% CL DMG) since we can't decide to hold tempest for 2 windstrikes! Unsure which is better tho!

I like the intention of Stormbringer, especially for Enhancer, but the presentation is really boring atm. The animation of Tempest is brief and weak and you have just more bluish lightning overall. In my opinion, they should have mixed Ice and Frost into Stormbringer ("Blizzard" is a storm too), just to add some visual nuances and making Frost more important for this spec.

I feel like its just passive and you wouldnt really have to think about it. Starlord for boomy incentives you to pool astral to dump for max haste. You cant do that with maelstrom. As long as you're playing efficiently with maelstrom and making sure use it when it procs then you should be good

@@zak8991 i just know the "best" way to play will be 2-3 globals before it falls you will hold unless you have a cd window up. im overall fine with it, i just wont feel good doing that.

@@GS-um4kq If all the stacks fall off at the same time then yea that wouldn’t be ideal and would probably require a WA for elitists. I haven’t played alpha, but i hope the stacks would fall off individually so that way you can preserve some of the haste throughout the rotation. And then spike up when you use wolves/prim wave
