Questo è un vero tenore con tutti gli attributi. Per anni lo ho ascoltato in Arena in ruoli diversi, da lirico spinto ed era sempre al centro dell'attenzione vista la qualità della voce e della presenza scenica. Dal carattere esuberante quasi da guascone. Ma qui io ritorno spesso ad ascoltare questa pagina di musica e lo trovo veramente sublime, canta con il cuore, ti penetra nell'anima ti travolge. Peccato ci abbia lasciato Rip.

Non credo che si possa cantare questo brano, secondo me meraviglioso ma difficilissimo, eseguirlo con questa maestria come fece lo splendito Tenore Franco BONISOLLI !!!!Ci vuole un bel coraggio criticare e cliccare "Un non mi piace " Limpida e potente e piena di meravigliose sfumature è la voce del Maestro Franco BONISOLLI.

En la vida pensé que alguien pudiera interpretar esta dificilisima aria de este modo tan increíble. Parece mentira que una voz tan ancha y potente pueda hacer ese canto ligado, esa media voz y cantar sin guardarse nada en ese agudo, que en verdad es un verdadero lamento. Bravo Maestro Bonisolli.

It's still a mistery why was Bonisolli underrated during his lifetime. Another great tenor who was also underrated was Veriano Luchetti. Great voice, great talent, but by some misterious reason, just like Franco, never got the deserved praising.

The seeking for perfection destroys diversity. People are being trained in very similar methods all over the world. Unless we have some artist who has some sort of autodidacting in his learning, it's going to be difficult to turn this over.

This man was a true legend. He would have been one of the original famous 3 Tenor Italia 90 but was left out because his loose cannon attitude. What a loss . Imagine if it was the 4 Tenors.

How could he sing this kind of repertory for lighter- voiced tenors with such a big voice? And then to sing it as excellently and beautifully as he did! Just marvelous! I think this tenor was underrated tremendously, pazzo or not pazzo. I rather have a "pazzo" (supposedly crazy) great tenor than a sane semi-tenor like so many are out there today and were there too during his time. And, besides, why the hell was he called Il Pazzo (The Crazy One)? He may have had an original, a bit eccentric personality, but crazy he certainly wasn't.

Contrary to what most people think, Bonisolli was NOT a dramatic tenor. He started as a lyric tenor with a relatively small voice. As years did pass by, his voice got bigger and bigger and he became a real spinto tenor capable of singing many different roles with great success.
