Looks like an awesome speed location. I noticed you sanded the tail area on the iS63, was this iron out imperfections or negative tail rocker?

Hi Mark, the board came to me like that. I think there had been an issue with the tuttle box in the factory, so it had been 'fixed'. It's dead flat now in front of the box, so a great board.

G'day Dave, what type of watch are you using. I have the Garmin Forerunner 245. Tracks ok, but no speed of the run displayed until the download to my phone. Will have to drop up to this location for a blast at some stage, on a Severne Dyno with weed fin. 😁

Yeah, a great spot for any type of sailing. That was a Garmin 6X Pro running the GPSTC Datafield. You can load that software to your watch - check out this link: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Gps/Garmin-GPSTC-Datafield-to-complement-the-Motion-Simple-Logger?page=11. I only use the Garmin for on-water feedback and use a Mini-motion GPS to send my speeds to the GPSTC. In that example, my watch had 41.2 knots as the 2-second max, but the motion had 40.8 with all of the error data so you can check for any spikes, etc. The two GPS's are usually very close, but you can't use the Garmin for positing to the GPSTC because you can't check the validity of the data. I was using a weed fin (as I feel they are quicker), but you don't need one!
