Hello Miss Sarah, Hi, look at the buttons on the front, you will see one for the LED light, bottom right, press for on, again for off. Hope this is what you were looking for, Steve and thanks for watching! I do suggest charging overnight once a month.....

While I don't think this machine is junk like some here, I simply do not know how to turn it off. The instructions have been misplaced, and there's no obvious power switch. I'm guessing it's supposed to turn off automatically? If anything is wrong with this machine, it's the lead acid battery. NiMH LSD can survive up to 2000 charge cycles, discharge 2.5% per year on average, can last 15 years on average, and have a maximum operating temperature of over 100°C (212°F). Li+ can only survive up to 1000 charge cycles, discharge 20% per year, only last about four years, and they tend to explode at 80-90°C (170-190°F). PbA can only really last 350 charge cycles, discharges completely in the matter of months, lasts two to three years IF CODDLED LIKE A DELICATE BABBY (less than 6 months otherwise), and quickly burns out above 45°C (113°F). This should not be left in the hot car, but isn't a lot of help if your vehicle dies while it's left at home. It's really useful, I just think the warranty needs to be voided a bit so that a more resilient battery could be installed.

Got two of these at Sams club. First impression was the manual was worthless. Second impression: it doesn’t matter because none of it works! Moral of the story: If you need to jump a car off, get a set of jumper cables! Not all is lost though. I’m using both of my Stanley’s for boat anchors now! It’s the only thing they do reliably!

This is a great charger to have on hand. Seriously Jumper cables? Attach this to your battery and it instantly starts. You don’t need another vehicle or Auto club to jumpstart. Also has USB ports to charge your phone. Lights and an air compressor. I have no clue why you don’t love this Stanley Fatmax.!

Hi, not enough power to jump start, try charging up the unit. These do not work the best for an auto, but do a good job with cell phones.....

Not good. Didn’t last more than 3 years for me. Contacted Stanley and they neither serviced nor replaced. Only choice: buy another. Not cool.

I've only had mine for about a year and it no longer holds a charge. The USB phone charging bit was always finiky, as it would usually charge the phone for about 30 seconds before auto turning off. The only thing it was good for was the air compressor. Garbage product.

@@technician775 I had to come back just in case anyone has a similar problem to the one that I had. Finally got around to opening up my unit, and the battery terminal cables were barely holding on by the skin of their teeth. I'm just spitballing but I am guessing that having the unit on the floor behind my driver's seat created enough extra vibration over time to loosen the nuts on the cables. So if anyone is having a similar problem, make sure to check those cables before you think about tossing the thing in the trash. Works great now.

On off switch doesnt work. Meaning it will beep at you every minute and drain its battery to junk in storage until you trash it. Thats Stanley quality. Absolute junk. How can you not get a on/off switch RIGHT??Unless its designed to take your money and UCK you, cuz Stanley branded. There's your review. Save your money and buy no brand junk, so you wont know who to be mad at. Not even smart company to write your name off on this, unless they think were dumb. Insult to injury right here. Your pain awaits you.
