I have collected stamps since the age of 7 which is now 60 years ago. Not surpringly over that period I have reduced the scope of my collection to a few British Empire/Commonwealth stamp issuing countries/territories. First and foremost are the Federal issues of the Leeward Islands which are held in 4 volumes of issued stamps mint and used, 2 volumes of covers with the emphasis on unusual/rare postmarks and one large stockbook of duplicate material. Back in the early days of my hobby I used to look forward to the annual publication of the 'Part 1' British Commonwealth catalogue which used to co-incide with my birthday. Made it easy for family to know what to get me for this annual event. In recent years with the huge increase in price it is left to me to purchase the volume myself and in order to save some money I only buy it every second year. This year I will be buying the 2021 edition! However while I used to regard the listings as gospel experience has told me that the catalogue is either inaccurate or sadly lacking in many respects. One example is the issue date of the stamps commemorating the 1949 Royal Silver Wedding. My latest edition of Part 1 (2019) says that they were issued on (Sunday) 2 January 1949, while in actual fact they were issued on (Monday) 3 January 1949. I have several covers that attest to the latter date. What is also odd is that the same issue of Part 1 for the constituent islands comprising the Leeward Islands e.g. Antigua, Montserrat, St Kitts etc are all listed as being issued on 3 January 1949. If the 2020 edition corrected the error then please accept my apologies for raising this if it is the case. Another gripe that I have with Part 1 is the failure to list more constant errors on the overprinted 1902 One Penny stamps which I could go on about at length but I think that I should finish my griping here.

Do folks still use hinges? I know you addressed this but there's other ways to display w/o damaging stamps, so I disagree!

Great content - but seriously you need to improve your production!! Constantly refocusing is not a good look.
