I bought a penny red too when I first visited SG. Similar to you, I didn't keep the stamp on the card but moved it to my stock book, but I didn't discard it too, because it looks cool😉 Nice one John, looking forward to more.

Wow, gorgeous packaging and presentation of your stamp. SG is definitely a class act, but have a reputation of charging high premiums for even mid-grade stamps without certs. Do you find that to be the case? Maybe this is true only for non-Commonwealth material?

I’ve always found their GB and Commonwealth items to be a fair price. You probably do pay a premium for the packaging etc, but I still think it’s worth it.
