From one Polock to another...I’m going to give you some very sound advice...Here’s how you remember vertical and horizontal....I know it gets harder and harder to remember when we all get older..... Its hard to find good workers, then a good worker you can trust even harder. Thats the one thing boss's need to work on I find, treating good workers well. and not just taking advantage of them since they can get a lot more done then the average person these days. A lot of people are just lazy and don't wanna work in the younger generations especially.

So I’m guessing 20 grand to hire someone to do a job like this? Hmm probably more... got my front yard landscaped with dg and wood chips with drip irrigation about 12 pants and 7 small boulders and a rock kind of a river and cost me 6,5... hmm those guys were the cheapest and don’t think they are licensed so yeah just wondering what kind of price range a rock wall like that would cost lol looks awesome!

I watched a video by Garrett Williams who was showing a friend building a boulder wall. The excavator operator had a camera on the bucket so he could see how the boulders looked as he built it from the back side.

Stan, narrative definitely lets you add useful commentary that would be overlooked during the live action shots. If there is a plot plan it would be useful to include just to help orientate the viewers. The wall definitely added character and value to the owners backyard versus the railroad ties.

As a landscape architect, the commentary indicates that you were thinking the same as me...fabric, washed stone, leveling, etc. Aren't you glad that railroad ties are finally recognized as a temporary solution?
