Am dying na makapasok sa UP simula bata pa ako.... last year pumasok ako dun sa music blg sa UP Diliman para mag inquire, tumutulo ang luha ko habang akoy naglalakad papasok sa blg na yun, pinagmamasadan kong maabuti ang mga studyante na tumotogtog sa gilid gilid ng mga rooms at sa hallway...me kirot sa puso ko, ganun ko ka mahal ang school na yan... ngayong me asawat anak na ako di parin nawawala sa isipan ko ang pagnanasang makapag aral sa UP at matutu sa UP. MABUHAY ANG UP!

Agree. The system is big (hell enormous) enough to give you all the possible options you'll need to get in. Ako nga, nag-enroll sa graduate school na lang. At ang pambato ko lang na credentials ay galing lang sa probinsya ko for my undergrad. And I Still Got In. Kaya don't give up. Keep fighting like a real Maroon would :)

When I was in my 4th year high school, my mother wanted me to take UPCAT. My mother and also my teachers expect alot from me because I'm the batch valedictorian. But at that time, i felt that students and generally, people, are all focus in the name of the University. I don't know why. It puts a lot of pressure on me because at that time I don't know why it is a big deal for our school (DLSAU) and my family. When National University offered me scholarship, I accepted it. They were all shocked.

Biggest regret in life? Yung hindi ako nag strive hard sa pagreview for the upcat, point na lang sana, diliman na but blame it on math kung bakit hindi ako pumasa. But I'm planning to transfer next AY, because I feel like na hindi ako happy sa school ko ngayon. Diba that's what matters? A number of UK universities accept UP graduates (and only UP grads) into their graduate programs without requiring them to actually complete a Master's program here in the Philippines prior to applying into their universities, in contrast to being a graduate from a non-UP school. Just saying. You can ask them yourself. :)
