Some years back, I found myself in North Western Washington for a couple of years. That was the time that my wife and I discovered the world of wine, and learned a lot about it, mostly due to a wine shop down the street from where we were living at the time and the wine club that led us to. There are so many little wineries all over the state. Such a great place to explore the world of wine. Columbia Valley is a really great place to explore. Glad to see someone highlighting this area and the wines you can find. We have been to Dunham Cellers. They had nice wines as I remember. Good to see they are still producing. Walla Walla is a great area to visit if you have not already. I like to know the wines in a blend, but I understand when they don't. They want to keep their blend tasting pretty much the same year to year, so need to modify it each year. Plus the label considerations you mentioned. Talking with vintners in small wineries, the label process is very time consuming. Changing one takes a good bit of time and money.

Thanks for the comment, you are spot on. We live in a special place for wine production. I feel lucky.
