How NOT to speak to police officers...!
However, I am not deemed trespassing on any land that has already got in place, IMPLIED RIGHTS of ACCESS! Stansted Airport did not display any signs contrary to the location in this video!
My implied rights of access was not legally removed, it turned out that I was requested, not ordered to leave!
Bylaws by the airport, I did not see any signs stating bylaws in this area, there was NONE!
These two did not share the same ideas for how best to deal with me in this situation. By the end, they contradicted each other for how they each wanted to deal with me, and one had to eventually concede to the other!
The one on the left wanted to arrest me for asking questions and not doing what I was told, while the one on the right, wanted to be reasonable, before eventually also upping the anti a little!
I like to help people comprehend my reasons, whether you agree with me or not, is not an issue. I respect other peoples points of view even if I don't agree with them myself. Here are my reasonings for quick reference as to why the two police officers thought they could evict me from an alleged trespass situation, that I myself identified as a civil matter due to the fact, there was no aggravation involved...!
I do believe the two police officers mean well and do a great job for the UK, but if their going to be funny with me, I will be funny with them...
Trespass to land in most instances is a civil matter, and as such the police do not have the power to assist in any removal from property if aggravation or criminality is not witnessed by themselves...
Initially, the landowner should ask the trespasser to leave the land and if he/she does then all is well. If he/she refuses to leave the land then you will need to consider taking civil action. It could be dangerous for the landowner to try to remove the trespasser themselves. The owner of the land could commit several criminal offences if he forcibly removes the trespasser and his/her property from the land.
The best and safest course of action is to obtain a court order, which, if breached, can then become a criminal matter. If the police do attend an incident such as this, they are merely there as observers for any possible criminal offences committed by either party. The police cannot assist in the removal of the trespassers or their property from the land in question. However the police do have some removal powers against larger groups of occupiers. Any damage done by a trespasser, or use of threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour towards the occupier, may amount to a criminal offence and should be reported to the police on 101.
When three independent people have can instantly develop their own attitudes in situations like these attitudes of all concerned in the video, it is reasonable to believe, theres never going to be an easy conversation to be had.
These are Highlights from a strange encounter with some of the UK's finest police officers on Airport Duty on the outskirts of Stansted Airport (UK) I learned so much from this pair and no matter how much we talked, we just could not seem to see eye to eye...!
In the end, I moved my car and the police officers as professionals, could have handled this situation much better in my opinion, instead, they chose an egotistical point of view and did not run with the heart!
What else would you expect from a citizen who is only going about their lawful business...!
