Hey Bean, you should always carry a tube of Wasabi and a bottle of light soy sauce and cut up some fresh sashimi for the customers as your cleaning their mackerel. That stuff is just sugar sweet as it gets when it's fresh. Wipe off fillets with a paper towel and never use water because it rinses the oil off of fish that makes it so sweet

The Nick Stick and the Bean Pole... Too funny! You also have a knack for making fish recipes especially the fish dip. I hate to do this to my neighbor he owns Smilin' Bob's Smoked Fish Dip near cudjoe key. I'm sure you've heard of them he has quite a market east of the Mississippi mostly in the southeast he's doing very well he has no competition. He's a good guy and so are you I just figured I'd give you an idea that may further your trademark. I tell you what I saw the tips of the rods as you're heading out on the morning of that trip and I knew you had the Minnie's. you guys are too funny together don't be surprised if someone comes up and offers you little bigger platform in the near future. if I was you I just stay on the one you're on because I think you're going to be a lot bigger than your imagination can fathom. Lastly, it is very admirable that you plug all the other charter boat captains. as well as the other services that you have available there at Bud & Mary's. I know you have a slight interest in it but you're doing it from the heart you want everyone to succeed and that what makes you so cool Nick keep it up my brother.

Hey Captain, great idea for a video. Get gopro cameras with long sticks and do some underwater filming of all the marine life around your docks and see walls. And of course get some shots of your tarpon, sharks etc. But all the other life around docks and sea walls is amazing. Love all your videos, as you know.

Remember missing alot of school days because mackeral were running,kingfish ...use to use citrus acids for a little boost on smoke..cut different trees for different flavors..layed on coals..give it a bite lol..great video..you guys are the best🎯💜🤴

Nick when I was young, we use to fish across the street under the bridge. Many big mangroves, lost a couple rods there because we had to stand on pipes & fish between our legs. Fish ran back under bridge.

Yeah I got a bunch of mackerel teeth mark scares from a big Spanish. I was sailing the Hobie Cat 16 and reached back to grab him and he gabbed me below my thumb. That was smarts, poured some Budweiser on it and kept on fishing. That was many moons ago.

Personally I think Spanish Macs get a bad rap. They are extremely good eating when prepared right from Sashimi to Broiled to Smoked. I prefer them over Kingfish. Pole broke due to the bananas . You can only test fait for so long. This time its a broken rod next time maybe a broken boat. I love the channel but I also grew up with fisherman and military . I pray for nothing but tight lines and bent rods for you guys. My wife and I actually spent several days on the lucky lady last year.
