I don't actually hate the sculpts. I think they are better than present toys versions.

I already preordered present toys ghost hunters all 4 . Not blitz way but it will do.

Still waiting for a decent Ghost Buster and preferably the Movie Version TMNT (preferably silicon body) sets. Hot Toys would be ideal, and would come in close to $285 also. Soosootoys are unlicenced but wouldn't do light up features. Threezero would be interesting, and could probably produce them more affordably then Hot Toys and Star Ace. I've been collecting for close to 2 decades, with more figs then I can literally count. If the set is going to cost me well over a grand it has to be damn near perfect. The Company MUST Preview ALL the figures during pre-order. It wouldn't be right to Pre Order Winston, and 3 months later Peter Venkman comes out and looks like Peter Griffen, now your stuck!

The head sculpts aren't great, but I don't think they're awful, either. Probably the best part of the figures, honestly, as I think the flight suits are really pretty bad.

The Venkman looks far more like Murray than the Blitzway one did, at least. The Blitzwat one always looked more like Jason Clarke than it did Murray.

This is something inart should have done. Would have been right up their alley with making a four pack for $1000 bucks and all they had to do is duplicate everything and make different head sculpts

I wish Hot Toys or Inart would do these. I don't understand why we keep getting hono crap and more storm troopers/ironman figures when they could make a mountain of cash with Ghostbusters or Terminator, Indiana Jones, Beetlejuice. No let's just do more star wars/marvel over and over.

They are ok at best, but that price makes it a no. Got 2 of the PRESENT TOYS ones on pre-order. Amd ill be happy with those.

It's a weird one part of me feels the hate is due to Star Ace as a company! Heck if these came out like the proto I'd be ok with it as I like upgrading stuff. In saying that we all know it won't even look close to that. I owned the BW set and felt Winston and Peter were both weak sculpts. Just a shame Star ace have no desire to fix their production issues! 🤦

For me, I'm more wondering if I can kit bash something together with parts from these, the 12" Mattel figures, the Present toys, and whatever Blitzway parts I can get my hands on.

Of course Blitzway doesn't have the license anymore... after their 2017 releases or whenever they were, Blitzway was content to sit on their asses for nearly a decade and do absolutely NOTHING with the IP. I think the people who will be most salty about Star Ace and Present Toys will be, ironically, Blitzway owners who thought they'd have the only set of 1/6 Ghostbusters until the end of Time. 😂 These look mediocre and overpriced. But at least somebody's doing them. And there will be more Blitzway hitting the market as people who say these are good enough, cash out. Win/win.

Just a heads up for the 1/6 community & Star Ace. If you think these headsculpt prototypes are bad, just wait for their final release which is always considerably worse. These will be ATROCIOUS when they actually release. I'm warning you now not to pre-order unless you're content with $300 Ghostbusters Trash.

Sculpts aren’t too bad, better than present toys. However the tailoring is awful. Details are so inaccurate too. And the price! These aren’t Hot Toys quality. Pass.
