The floyd ship is free during development for testing purposes. The x6 is a nice ship. Payed something like 150 bucks i guess. Nice ship.

Siggy just posted in some video in here that the next release of showroom will open up for people that dont have a ship. My tip is: figure out what you will be in the game (fighter, freighter, miner etc) so you can focus in the fleet you want to have. If you don't have enough money right now, buy a simpler ship to be in the project. There are things you can do in the labs right now to make some atlas. And this will only grow in time. Also be in the Community because there is always events that can earn you something...and sometimes something big. And thanks for taking the time to watch my content bro.

It has a whole different lore, but the main difference is that it uses block chain tech. So you own those ships in the block chain, they are tokens and there is a whole tokenomics and dao behind it. Btw, Star Citizen is awesome right now. Just posted a video with the latest version.

@@theout90 Man, I love Star Atlas and i am big into it. But the level of Star Citizen currently is something that i honest never saw in my life. And I believe that Star Atlas has the potencial to be like this for the web3 gaming world in the future. And we can't forget that Star Citizen had a 7 or 8 years development head start and more than half a billion dollars of budget. Star Atlas team have technical potential to go this length. Lets participate, play, buy ships and help them achieve this.

Yes. But it is solana network. Really cheap gas cost. And to play the showroom you only need the wallet to buy a ship and get access. During the game you don't use it. You can find really cheap ships in the market (like less than 10 bucks)

Their next release R2.2, which will go open access on the epic games store will be free to play, with select ships and some on rotation that will be free to use, however if you want to extract value from the game you will need to create a crypto wallet.
